Experimentation, Cross Stitch - James Cooke

During on of our meetings, the idea of creating a clothing tag which incorporates stitching to complement the Crochet hats, and the idea of cross stitch sparked.

The idea was that the women in Romania who make the hats would also be able to be more involved in the creation of other aspects of the hats manufacture including a handmade cross-stitched clothing tag which would also be something that the person who bought a hat would be able to keep.

Here I have tried many of our different Logo ideas in the cross stitch method to see how they would turn out.

Some of these designs are more interesting than others but as a group we decided that they wouldn't work well as a clothing tag due to their intracity and length of time taken to make by hand.
