Daniel Abraham: Designing a Website

We all thought it would be a grand idea to make a mock website to host the new identity we have all created for DECE. So as a motion designer it was up to me to make the mock up, however this first design was produced by Richard Higgs but alas it didn't work in After effects, so i had to replicate it.

The idea behind the website was that it created a community, something that tied in with the tag line "Be a part of it". The Homepage would contain links to all of the other websites where DECE had commonalities, such as Facebook and YouTube, while at the same time had a feed of all pictures taken by customers wearing the DECE products. This would be made up of just the customers, each hat would contain a member code transforming that purchase from a hat into other things. On the top would be a pic of the week, whoever won the pic of the week would be sent DECE "goodies".

This is Evidently the Products page, displaying the products DECE has to offer. We went for a paper ripped style to translate handmade.
The Story of DECE, a key part of the website, however we didn't want to flood the customer with that information, so we have only kept the story on the website and not on the tag of the hats.

The team page is where people have accounts within the DECE community, using the member code they would be able to join the team and upload whatever they wanted, suggest new ideas ect (within reason).

When animating the webpage i want to use the "deconstructing" "reconstructing" i mentioned in the earlier post.
